Jacques Couelle House

“It is not enough to create volumes which, on the inside, offer people a happy space, and which, on the outside, are beautiful: the volumes must be integrated into the environment. »

MOUGINS

Renovation of a sublime house built by the architect Jacques Couëlle   on the heights of Cannes in the 60s.

The challenge of this renovation project: to reinforce the Couëlle spirit and sculpture architecture in the technical rooms of the house with already generous curves.

Each Jacques Couëlle house is unique, so all the equipment and fittings are made to measure: from the partitions, to the kitchen, including the washbasin units, the shelves and the mirrors... Absolutely everything has been thought out and made on measure in respect of the work of the architect, for our customers who are passionate about art and furniture.

For this project, we asked Hervé Laporte, plasterer but ultimately artist for the realization of all the sculpture parts imagined as the washbasin furniture.
